The city of Feodosia is located on the south-eastern coast of the Crimean Peninsula, is a large settlement at the entrance to the territory of the Crimea from the Krasnodar Territory. These cities interact at a distance of only about a hundred kilometers from each other. Theodosia appeared on the Black Sea coast due to Greek colonization in the 6th century BC. And this Greek polis was created by the same commercial immigrants from Miletus, who created a considerable part of the Crimean city-states. Developing near Kerch, which at that time was called Pantikapei and was the largest city of that period of time, Feodosia did not lag behind in economic development. The Greeks called the new polis that was founded as "God-given", which ultimately sounded like Theodosia. There are four resort villages around Feodosia: Primorskiy, Beregovoye, Ordzhonikidze and Koktebel. Each of them can be easily reached by bus. Various festivals are held in the city every year:
