Hotels in Alushta, showing 57
Alushta is an excellent Black Sea resort on the southern coast of Crimea with a mysterious name, seductive and somehow invisibly different from its own no less famous neighbors, Yalta and Sudak. The resort town is located in the most extensive valley on the Southshore. Many guidebooks describe the beaches of Alushta as some of the best in Crimea. Indeed, they have a significant dignity - some of them are sandy, all clean and well-groomed. In Alushta and its environs there are a large number of attractions - from the ancient fortress Aluston to the legendary stone of Natalya Varley, standing on which her heroine from the film Prisoner of the Caucasus sang, and the no less legendary winery Alushta. Also not far, just 35 kilometers away, is the beautiful Yalta with its luxurious palaces, museum houses and the legendary Swallow's Nest castle. Mount Demerdzhi and the Valley of Ghosts is a mountain range that attracts not only with its heights, but also with its bizarre forms. The valley of ghosts is called a cluster of numerous boulders, which by their outlines resemble various characters. It is also worth visiting the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall - the most full-flowing waterfall in the Crimea with a height of about 15 meters. It is not very high, but the outside nature itself and the road to the waterfall are very picturesque. You can drive up by a car only 1.5 km away. Chatyr-Dag Mountain and caves are another natural attraction that should not be ignored. In the vicinity of Chatyr-Dag Mountain there are several caves at once, which are considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The Guardians of the Galaxy Center is an amazing art complex where you can feel yourself in the atmosphere of a spaceship. Here you can take a short excursion, go through an exciting quest and even live, because this is also a hotel. Over the past few years, Alushta has been actively transforming. The embankment is being reconstructed, modern hotels and restaurants are opening. In 2019, the concept for the transformation of the coastal area was approved. If it is implemented, Alushta will become one of the most fashionable and beautiful cities on the Black Sea coast.
