VIII International Great Sevastopol Officers' Ball

VIII International Great Sevastopol Officers' Ball will be held at St. Michael's Battery on June 20. It will be dedicated to the 325th anniversary of the Russian Navy, the Day of Russia, the day of the hero-city of Sevastopol and the 115th anniversary of the Russian composer Dmitry Shostakovich

Representatives of all the country's fleets - the Black Sea, Pacific, Baltic, Northern and Caspian Flotilla - gather on the parquet. Along with the officers' couples, civilian couples from all over Russia will dance. The couples will traditionally take part in the world's only Military Ball Parade, a solemn ceremony of greeting the military and civilian society in the style of ballroom dancing.
