New Year in St. Petersburg: how and where to celebrate 2021

You can celebrate the New Year - 2021 in St. Petersburg in a variety of ways - everyone will find entertainment and activities to their liking.

In the last decade of December the main hero of the occasion, Ded Moroz, arrives from Veliky Ustyug. On his command, the main city Christmas tree is lit on the Palace Square. After completing his mission, the grandfather goes to the fair.

On Palace Square from December 26 to 30 every day at 19:00 will be held a New Year's Eve light (laser) show - everyone can see it for free.

Nevsky Prospect is struck by festive illumination: everywhere sparkling garlands, figures and light rain. In the evening of December 31, until morning, traffic is blocked here, you can reach the center by metro - stop "Gostiny Dvor" or "Nevsky Prospect". On Nevsky there are the best entertainment venues of the city, where holidaymakers rush after the New Year, some clubs after midnight offer free admission and drinks.
