Festival "Journey to Christmas"

Hundreds of bright lights, smells of cinnamon and gingerbread, incendiary dances, master classes and colorful chalets with Christmas goods - all this is the festival "Journey to Christmas".

The magical New Year atmosphere of the festival is created by stunning light installations, street theater performances, ice ballets, master classes and winter games. On the occasion of this large-scale celebration the actions of all favorite Russian and foreign fairy tales are unfolding in the main streets of Moscow. The festival grounds are equipped with elegant Christmas trees, original light-dynamic compositions and light installations. On each of the sites of the Moscow Christmas Festival trading rows are erected, stages, street theaters and pavilions for master classes are opened.

Traditionally, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden come to the festival "Journey to Christmas" from Velikiy Ustyug and meet guests in their own homes. Each child can talk to his grandfather and granddaughter, take a memorable photo and make a cherished wish that will surely come true. The festival is attended by about 3 million people, including not only residents of the Moscow region, but also guests from other cities in Russia and abroad.
